Morning all.

I posted last week to mention I had my change of circumstance f2f assessment last Wednesday and on Friday I recieved a text to say DWP now have my assessment report.

When can I call for a copy of the report and if I can do it now do they only send via post?

Thank you x

Hi Natalie you can call them now and yes they will only send by post that can take anything up to 10 days to receive

Hi Natalie I rang to say my condition had worsened ....had a F2F at home (by the same assessor as my 1st F2F) and it took about 6 weeks for a decision because they said it takes a bit longer when it’s an unscheduled  review so don’t worry if it takes longer. I got a good decision so fingers crossed for you xx

They may refuse to send it to you before decision is made as this does happen sometimes. If this happens then ring back to speak to someone else, they will hopefully agree to send it out to you. They can be very stubborn at times. When you have it use those PIP descriptors to add up those ticked boxes in that report. Good luck and please let us know how you did.

This afternoon i called up DWP to which i was impressed with only being in the queue for 30 seconds before someone answered. The lady stated they received my report back on the 5th even though i got the text on the 6th and said she will send a copy of the report. I am more nervous about receiving a copy of the report then the actual decision.

It's rare for them to go against the report, so the decision should be the same as what's stated in the report. Even the length of the award is usually the same. Good luck.
