I had to use a wheelchair! STORY TIME

Hi my name is Jasmin, I’m 21 and was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia last year. I tend to suffer in silence but my friends know me to well and end up helping me out anyway, although there are always friends who forget. So one of my close friends decided to go on a night out in Sydney. At the time I was going through a really bad time and all the waking didn’t give my any favours. It was hard and I couldn’t handle the walk any longer, so reluctantly I asked  my friends to help me find a wheelchair to rent while we visited the museum. It wasn’t to hard, the woman at the ask helped me out as fast as she could. My friends made the situation better as they pushed me around the huge place. I’m glad I don’t need one all the time but I am so glad I could use it.

Does anyone else use a wheelchair from time to time?

What a great group of friends. Give them big hugs 😀. I rest at home use a cane and when out to the store I use the elec cart. Sometimes if I am going somewhere a trip I will always use time to set aside to rest. Also antiinflammatories help and Tylenol. With out them I am totally lost. Sometimes it's best to rent a wheel chair and enjoy the ride!😀

yes I have to as walking around does get to me and I suffer fatigue really badly, so again, reluctantly I do use a shopmobility electric scooter, I feel like I have the freedom to do things like go on long walks with my dogs or shopping!
