I HATE EYE FLOATERS SO MUCH PANIC! :(((

I know Ive posted about this a million times I guess this is just an update.
I went to the optamolagist and they dialated my eyes, checked my floaters. said there's no tears anywhere at all and I have dry eye.
OK, so I look in the mirror and feel like one of my pupils is still bigger than the other. it's been 2 days. so that's making me anxious, ALSO even though the doc said everything looks perfect I STILL find myself STARING into the sky mid convo with someone following my floaters around. THERES SO MANY, I'm only 22. ((( I can't even imagine the rest of my life dealing with them. I KNOW something has to make them less noticeable at least. or take my mind off them.
talking about it helps, please reply. anyone. this is making me so depressed. I also have these shadow floaters that are huge and just float across. I notice more when I squint too. i want to stop everyday being so obsessive about them.
please please help. and does anyone else have shadow floaters? that are kinda big.
anytbing I can do to help my overall eyesight too?

Hi arichards:
I am so sorry to hear you are suffering from eye floaters. I am 55 and I got my eye floaters from two months ago in my left eye and some days the floaters are more "well-behaved" but there are days when I just want to gulch my eyeball out and clean it. Of course, pure fantasy. I've tried liquid MSM; Chinese herbalist prescribed herbal medicine; eye exercises; and even water fast for three days. Unfortunately, nothing worked. However, I have decided that I refuse to let the floaters affect the quality of my life. I tell myself I will continue the search, but I also won't let it be the focus of my life. Your post was from 11 months ago, and I am hoping by now you are no longer suffering from the floaters. Please post and let me know of your progress. I want you to know there is someone out here that knows how you feel.

I'm so so sorry for you too. I just feel like nobody else my age has them and i'm so envious of them. Ive been trying recently to ignore them (since i've been to 5 different eye docs and they say my eyes are healthy) but some days I just can't. I also hate thinking about the future for my eyes, I just pray they don't get worse. I have them still in both eyes along with flashes which apparently go hand in hand with floaters. Do you have these too? Like I said some days are worse than others, sometimes I get so tired of being anxious I have to take my xanax (i'm prescribed) to feel better. It's rough but it's good to know people know how I feel.

I forgot to mention that I don't have flashes, and the retina specialist dilated my eyes and said my eyes are healthy.
What I'm fearing now is although my floaters are only in my left eye, I read somewhere there is a chance within 18 months, floaters might develop in the other eye. Hence, I'm really not just going to sit back and not do a single thing even though I try not to let the left eye floaters bother me too much, I refuse to sit and wait for the right eye to start getting floaters too. So my search is on for prevention of the right eye too.

Hi arichards:
One of the posts from this chain mentioned keeping eyes hydrated helps, and it really does. There is one other thing that also helped a bit and that is looking far away at green colors, i.e. trees in the distant. So when I'm a passenger in a car, rather than spending all my time looking at my phone, I look at the trees as far as possible, it seems to help. Although relief is temporary, it's still nice to feel I have a tiny bit of control over this thing. I also find that on days when I'm less on the computer or on my phone, the floaters seem to be less apparent, so take frequent eye breaks.
I will continue to search for other ways to get relief, and I will keep you posted. Don't let eye floaters take away the quality of your life. You are young and you have a whole life ahead of you, so stay in control. Just know you have supporters such as myself and that you are not alone in this.

I've heard some of these things too.. I use non-preservative dry eye drops sometimes and it does seem to help. Mine have gotten worse and like I said, they are in both eyes. I would also like to prevent it from getting even WORSE, but I've done so much research and everyone says there is nothing you can do.... so saddening for me and i'm sure everyone else. Please PLEASE keep me posted if you find/hear of anything! I heard the surgery is dangerous and has too many complications that could happen.

Hi dianataylor:
I found the info of that place you told me about. Very amazing work per their website. I have plans to visit them in August. I can't be too specific because the moderator will delete me. Too bad because I'm not selling anything here.
How are your eyes doing? Please e-mail me if you are comfortable telling me more than you can here. Thank you.

Arich:
You really should take a look at the website that dianataylor told me about. I can't say too much because moderator has already deleted my comments from previously. The doctor is in Irvine, he specializes in zapping eye floaters. I will see him in August. My eye floaters are better on some days and worse on others. Although I can still drive and carry on normally, but they are annoying me quite a bit.

Yes to both & the flashes aren't nearly as bad anymore. it's just weird to have all this and my eyes to be "completely normal" according to the doctors. i'm thankful but i also wish there was something they could do..
