I have 2 bumps on my glans

Posted , 2 users are following.

I am 15 and I have 2 bumps on my glans. I am sure it is not an STD because I have never had sexual intercourse of any kind. I do have a dry glans but I don't think this is because of that but I am confused. I have attached two pictures so that you can see what it is. They are raised skin. They do not feel hard or anything. Also, I have had no symptoms of any kind. Please help.image

Max, it is rather unlikely that you have anything unusual going on. The only time to be concerned is when you become sexually active and you are not using a condom.

So, at 15 the penis is developing considerably and this could continue until you are in your mid-twenties, so if you inspect it regularly there may be a number of noticeable changes - unless you have some kind of weird medical issue there is completely nothing to worry about here.

In terms of the dry glans - and this can depend on whether you are circumcised or not, but if you can get your hands on some Coconut Oil and use that 2 or 3 times a week, particularly after taking a shower, that will help to hydrate the skin. A light film or coating is all you need - so even a small bottle would last ages - perhaps there is some in your house anyway ......

Oh okay thank you so much. I have been worried a lot. But judging by the bumps, are you sure it is nothing bad going on? Because as it may be clear, I take a lot of anxiety for small things. I was worrying if it is penile cancer or something but i understand 15 is too young an age and the symptoms are way worse right. Thanks a lot anyways, I feel more relaxed now than I was before.

Hi Max, you can think these issues through logically, as this is what you are already doing, that is:

      • the chances of someone your age having penile cancer are almost zero
      • the symptoms would look a whole lot different, and 'way worse' than what you have
      • The best thing for you to learn about would be to know how to chill-out and keep yourself relaxed - this helps keep anxiety in-check and helps you see things that are happening in your own personal world in a more realistic manner, rather than escalating to become major issues ......
