I suffer from heart failure, but also chest pain that they say is nothing to do with heart failure.  They (the doctors) say it is something called Costco chrondittus.  This is inflammation between the bone and muscle in the chest, but it does get everywhere, so I have had everything checked, and no further forward.  Just keep believing in yourself and the fact you know your body.

Costco chrondittus is his most likely condition. It is very easy for a doctor to diagnose, He just pokes his finger on the spot and you yelp.

Have you had an X-ray. Did this show anything? Also do you recall injuring yourself at the time of the the chest & back pain starting?

As I'm no expert I can't offer the reassurance your GP could so I would talk to them. Upper back pain can have many causes & it may be unrelated to your chest pain? I have referred pain in my upper back which is generated from a lower spinal injury. It took me a while to have that confirmed but it's generally under control now thanks to my excellent GP.

All the best & hope the pain goes quickly
