hi,

imagei am a 16 year old teen boy and i never had sex but i used to masturbate sometimes.early this morning i found a group of small spots on my penis and i don't know what is it.can it be caused due to balanitis.they are present on the foreskin.my foreskin is not completely retractable and therefore i cannot see the glans completely.is it some type of common infection or something else.recently i am using a topical cream (clotrimazole and beclomethasone cream) for balanitis, can it be a side effect? please help me out.imageimageimageimage is something wrong?

general rule is that if you have never had sexual contact then spots that appear on the penis have to be natural development. Your penis will continue to develop until you are around 26 YOA so you may get lots more spots and glands that appear, while others you get sometimes fade away.

Again generally, how your penis looks when you are about 26 YOA is how your penis will look for the rest of your life. So, no, not caused by Balanitis.

In terms of what is going on with your foreskin, being able to fully expose the glans is not something every male of your age can achieve. For the vast majority this is something that will most likely sort itself out in the next 2 to 3 years - you can of course do stretches of your foreskin that would help the situation, as long as you do not try to force change completely.

Unlikely to be an infection, but it is possible. Did a doctor or other medical professional prescribe the clotrimazole and beclomethasone for you to use ....... ?

@Wee_Dugie yes, I visited a GP nearly 2 weeks ago who prescribed me using the clotrimazole and beclomethasone topical cream. And one more thing it kind of burns at the tip of penis when I pee (i am observing it from yesterday).is it something serious? Also, the GP said to apply the cream twice a day but sometimes I forget to apply it.thanks for your reply.

Try to set something in place to remind you to apply the cream twice daily, this may be a CRITICAL element of sorting out what you have going on!

More than likely the burning sensation is a slight urine or urinary tract infection (UTI) what you can do over the next 4 or 5 days is to drink plenty of fluids - particularly water, limit coffee intake if you tend to drink lots, or go without. You should aim to drink 2 Litres of fluids per-day, and this should mainly be fresh water.

When you apply any creams to your penis, either now or in the future you must try to avoid ANY of the cream getting inside your Meatus (your pee-hole) as this potentially can cause severe problems.

In terms of your foreskin issues going forward, use the creams as you were directed by the GP and hopefully your situation will settle and resolve itself.

Were you previously able to fully expose the head of your penis or is this something you have not been able to do at any time ...... ?
