I have a lump on the left side of my neck under my jaw + neck pain, upper back pain, shoulder ain.

I've had these symptoms for a week. My neck, back, and shoulder muscles feel really sore at times. My neck sometimes feels like it can't lift my head up. It looks like the lump is a swollen gland? It stings a bit if I poke it hard enough. Any thoughts on what it could be?

    Hi Vic, do you know what could have brought it on? I’ve been suffering from upper back pain (like I’ve been put grafting all day) stiff and sore neck, shoulder and back muscles and pull muscles in my chest. This was down to an incorrect stretch and have had this for over a year now. 

    Can you trace it back to anything in particular?
