I have a new concern

since i have both oral lichen planus and geographic tongue (two inflammatory conditions) I am worried that they will both work together to give me oral cancer.  most people with geographic tongue get lesions on the top part but i get them on the side of my tongue as well.  well my biggest OLP region is on the side of my tongue and i frequently get the GT sores right on top of it.  so the GT can flare up the OLP when the OLP is calm.  I am really worried about this.  i feel like there is nothing i can do to heal myself because the GT is so unpredictable and pops up constantly - any suggestions ?

Hi Tracy, how do you apply the honey? Do you spit it out?

Hi, you have to careful when you by Manuka, comes from New Zealnd and the real stuff is quite expensive.  There's a lot cheaper stuff around but I don't think that' what you want.

My wife has OLP and she has used Manuka but it didn't help her. It's delicious so you wont want to spit out.

Buy a jar from Holland and Barrett it is quite expensive buy honestly worth trying ,swallow one spoon a day straight from the jar ,swish it round your mouth a bit before swallowing.. Obviously if you are allergic to bees then you cant have it ....
