    Dear clair,

Yeah might be it happens when you lift heavy weights by doing shoulder exercise. Please before lifting take a support of gym trainer or else you friends who can lift that weight few months ago I regularly went to gym when I am lifting double dumbbells heavy pain on my right side that day evening I went to physiotherapist he suggested me not to lift heavy dumbbells and when sleeping don’t put pillow below the head. I have followed the normal exercise the pain was gone in a week. I suggest you once check with your family doctor if you do you have huge pain.

Hello clair.... Don't lift heavy weight without taking suggestion from the trainer. They can teach you how to lift the heavy weights and fallow that tips to avoid these types of problems. in early days it might be happens but if you are suffering for long time you should consult your doctor.

    Clair,

Ever heard of Pilates? I guarantee it'll help you. The muscle you're feeling is called the Levator. Take some pain killers, drink lots of water, and don't over-strain it. Pilates exercises will lightly work it and build strength slowly so you don't overwork yourself. PM me if you would like me to describe specific exercises. I teach pilates and it's the only thing that keeps me walking straight and sleeping at night.
