I have a prickling sensation like i was wearing an itchy sweater, but everwhere

hi everyone, I'm new here. i have anxiety and depression and am under treatment for both. right now i'm not particularly anxious, but throughout the day I've been feeling itchy and prickly like i was wearing a rough sweater or has allergies or something, but changing clothes have no helped. i feel like it's psychological, so I'm not sure what I can do to stop the feeling? i've changed, showered and did breathing exercises. i'm constantly scratching and starting to loose my mind a little and starting to feel irritated because of it. i feel it mostly where my body touches itself, like inner thigh, and also my arms and neck.

have you felt this way? what did you do to help?

thank you!

do you have any little red bumps because hives is very itchy with little red bumps. I had them all over my body when I was in college due to stress and anxiety. For that I took a little Benadryl which relieved it. But you should first find out what you have before you take anything.you could take an oatmeal bath which relieves dry itchy skin. baking soda is another thing you can use in a lukewarm bath tub with 1/2 to 1 cup of baking soda.it reduces itching and irritation.hope you feel better soon!

there’s a line of products you can buy either in the store or most likely on Amazon for dry and itching skin that you can put in the bath, including oatmeal packs specifically made for this. Aveeno also makes a line of products for this.
