There's a small blue bump on the top of my penis near the head. It's firm and causes discomfort when masturbating but doesn't hurt. It almost looks like a tiny vein that's hardened. Wondering what it is and if I should seek medical help?

I have the exact same thing. Small hardened bluish bump right on/under a vein. How often do you masturbate and how long usually?

If it's a purple or bluish lump, it's likely to be just a penile vein. But you may also have a penile lymphocele (Google). It's nothing serious and it's not an STD. It comes about when the penis is subjected to frequent or prolonged erections (or both); this interrupts the normal flow of lymphatic fluid inside the penis. The simplest remedy is to REST- i.e. avoid masturbating or having sex for a week or so.
