I have a small rash above my left eye

A few days ago this rash came out on the left side of my face just above the eye brow. I thought maybe it was a spider bite or maybe the rose bush I trimmed over the weekend, got me. It is painful to the touch. I can feel something is there, annoying. The rash is getting smaller but it tingles frequently. In addition, both of my eyes are weeping like I have pink eye. However, the discharge is not thick and grainy. My eyes are glued shut when I wake in the middle of the night and again when I get up in the morning. They itch like crazy. Any suggestions?

Now if you can do that it would rule out ALL possibilities. Your symptoms could be shingles, could be allergic reaction to the weeds you were in over the weekend as you mentioned. And a host of other ailments it could mean. (Runny itchy-eyes, a rash that’s underneath the eye (s). The only TRUE WAY ease your mind and diagnose what you have is by seeing an ER.
Hope you feel better soon and keep us posted okay.........

Hi, this is your eyes we talking, make sure you see specialist immediately...
I'm aware that some eye's specialist Hospitals are operating 24hours.. even during the weekend.. May I ask where about in the country do you live? I might be able to make suggestions where to go! Take care.

You need to see an Ophthalmologist immediately. How is the rash above your eye? Is it worse or completely gone? If it is worse, it certainly could be shingles, if it disappeared, it was not shingles.
When your eyes are glued shut in the morning, it is usually bacterial conjunctivitis and needs treatment with antibiotic eye drops.
Please see an Ophthalmologist ASAP and do keep us posted.
Best Wishes
