I have a yeast infection is this normal too?

i have a yeast infection and have been using monistat 7 but is this normal if the infection is severe? I have white discharge that smells a little and i did scratch because of inchingimageimage

      no it doesn't burn or anything. not to be rude but how do you know? I saw you said herpes to a lot of people.

      i can see multiple ulcers and more forming , also i have HSV2 so i know from experience

    Hi pooh,

    I don't think there's any doubt that the pictures show multiple genital ulcers on both labia. The question is what's causing them? The most likely cause in the West is genital herpes, so el22152 is correct in raising this as a likely diagnosis. To prove it, you should try to get your GP/doctor to take a herpes DNA swab from the ulcer/s.

    It's unlikely that candida would cause genital ulceration- you might develop scratch marks or small cuts (from your sharp fingernails) from scratching the vulva, but not the type of ulcers seen in the photos.

    i got my test results back and its not herpes. its a reaction to medication and yeast thank you guys

    what tests did they perform?, just wanna make sure they have done the right ones because the herpes virus stays in the body for life xx

      they did a swab and blood test. my mom went because i was so nervous. they told her for something like hsv 1 and 2. what kind should they have done. We went to planned parenthood. Should i get another one?

      and all the sores are gone they appeared i went to the doctor the next day and posted on here the 3rd by the 5th day they disappeared
