I have all the symptoms but my gynecologist does not seem to think I have LS?

Hi,

I'm 28 and yesterday had my first gynaecological exam. I should have had it years earlier but due to anxiety, never went until now, when I felt compelled to go because of the pain. I have a white patch, fusing on one side (it is mild so maybe she didn't notice it but I am aware of the fusing that has occurred over time), occasional small cuts, itching, sometimes blood blisters and the most concerning to me is the fusing because I know it can, and likely will, worsen if not treated. My partner and I are currently abstaining because of the pain both during and after intercourse.

I am wondering if I should seek a second opinion? She was wonderful and so kind but she told me she didn't see any white patch and only sees that in older women, so my concerns felt a bit dismissed. I do have an autoimmune disorder and wondering if this could be the cause of it.

    photos could help diagnose ....

i would say consider going to a dermatoligst, if it is LS then you want to be on top of that.

one thing you see on this forum with such conditions is doctors getting diagnosis wrong all the time....it can be very tricky to diagnose

i just want to suggest not only natural oils, treated baths, change in diet , lifestyle improvements etc but also something i am trying which is fasting as well as doctors perscription if there is an issue.

i believe taking a multi pronged holistic path can provide a path that not only helps the condition but helps the system all around and then that creates a knock on effect helping the symptoms which helps general health and so on.
