I have been constantly worried about pain around my throat happening sometimes

I have been feeling like this for weeks,sometimes pain from left side of throat, then right side the next day... Sometimes this pain causes me headache and feel like my veins are vibrating... And now pain behind the ears (the bone behind the ears) .. I visited a local doctor he said it's tonsillitis and gave some medicines, but I don't feel like it's working... Does any one have some suggestions to give me.. And forgot to mention one thing that I have pain from my back also. Just below the neck when I wake up
