I have been doing more research on the Internet and apparently taking the homeopathic treatment Arnica30 can help in some cases of bleph and eyelid cysts. Sometimes clearing it up completely!

(Sorry but as is our policy, the web address has been removed)

I am going to get some tomorrow will keep you posted as to it's effect.

    Hi!

Has the Arnica30 worked? I've only heard and experienced Blepharitis in the past 5 weeks. I've never had any problems with my eyes and have no idea why they chose to kick off now. I can't seem to pin down a change in my diet or anything. The only difference in my life has been getting married and going on honeymoon to Malaysia.. was wondering am I allergic to marriage or not being in Malaysia..!!

It's been v. frustrating as last week one of my eyes totally shut up with the sty like feature in my right eye... deeming almost any work impossible as I do alot of computer work. How do others manage with a desk job and the blurry vision?

    Thanks

I too have suffered from this condition for 10 years or more. My upper eyelids become red and swollen and sometimes a stye forms, other times the eyelid just swells like a balloon and doesn't come to a head. A few times cysts have formed and I had two removed, but I have decided not to go down that path again, but to keep up the cleaning routine; and until now they have eventually gone. If the swelling is at the top centre of the lid it affects my vision. I have another flare up at present and am wondering just how long it will take this time to subside. Antibiotics don't seem to make any difference.

I have had blepharitis for some years too and have also had cysts removed. I always clean my lashes with bicarb but the blepharitis seems to be chronic. Recently saw a consultant who prescribed Viscotears and another articifical tear and also flaxseed oil I have lost practically all of my lower eyelashes. Strangely enough, I have also had a lot of thinning of eyebrows and itchy eyebrows. Can one have blepharitis of the eyelashes?? Has anyone else experienced a similar loss of eyelashes?? This makes me feel very miserable!
