My doctor has told me today that after my total hysterectomy 7 weeks ago that I have to have another smear test, just to test if they got it all. Has any else had this? Is it the norm and how did they get on.

after my total hysterectomy i have been getting cytology (samples taken from vaginal wall every six months they have been positive for abnormal cells everytime HpV
