I need advice. I have been dealing with depression and anxietyfor 19 months. I have been on a lot of medication already and combos of them and nothing is working to resolve this. I attend cbt. Still am as depressed as I ever was and the morning anxiety is horrible. Happens everyday and lasts all day long. I am afraid that I am treatment resistant at this point. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I am 54. I have had labs done but Dr thinks everything looks ok. Have you been depressed and anxious for as long as me?

Ive suffered badly for about 4 years. No meds seem to helping me at all. I cant stand the sleep deprivation any longer either. Have you gone throughthe menopause? Im only 37 but have always had issues with my periods and now suffering with lots of other symptoms

Sounds very very frustrating. Just a question have all physiological etiologies been ruled out with the use of labs? Like thyroid and other hormones? Does it center around an event? Cbt is good but sometimes somatic work can help. Well wishes with you that you get relief.

    Hi Michelle

Have you seen an endocrinologist? Perhaps the anxiety and depression is related to hormones.A specialist in this field may be able to help you.I do feel for you but dont give up keep searching for the right medical advice.
