I have been on increased dosage of mirtazapine

hi all, just wondering if anyone could give me some advice please! the gp increased my dosage of mirtazapine last week from 30mg a day to 45mg.... it has completely heightened my anxiety and panic attacks, I really dont know if I can tolerate taking 45mg anymore and wondered whether I should stick with it a little longer , or drop back down to 30mg? The latter is what I would prefer to do, so would it be OK to drop straight down from 45mg to 30mg with only being on the increased dose for a week or will I still have to taper? any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏼
