I have been sick all summer, need some answers.

So at the beginning of summer I started getting sick and having abdominal pain. It was quite simple but lasted for around a month. I got into a gastroenterologist who said it just sounded like I was backed up and he gave me laxatives. I start taking the laxatives as he recommended and two days later I'm in so much pain I can't walk, sit in the car, sleep, anything. I go to the hospital and have tests run and I have inflammation of appendix. I see the surgeon same morning, have surgery in the afternoon. Recovery is going fine untill I have a UTI from the catheter. Take a round of antibiotics, finish them, gain symptoms of UTI again, get prescribed a different antibiotic, finished them, symptoms come back, and that happened 3 times. I have just now finished my 3rd round of antibiotics but now I'm confronted with some new symptoms. I have pain in my lower back on both sides, as well as my under my right shoulder blade, my bowel habits are changing all the time. I'll be constipated, then I'll be fine, and next day I'll have diarrhea. I've also been extremely fatigued. When I eat, I always get nauseous. A few times throughout the day I'll feel extremely bloated and cramped up, but I'm not over eating. I also have discomfort when peeing, some itching, and not always but sometimes burning. Also I have pains that feel like period cramps, but I already had my period a week ago. Which was late by a few days, and it lasted for two days, stopped for one, came back for one, then it was over. Has anyone gone through this, and if so what did you find out? All this summer I've gotten blood work, multiple ultrasounds, and multiple CT scans, and to the hospital multiple times. Sorry for the long post but I felt I needed to give every detail that would deem useful.

O.M.G! You've had an awful time.  Ask to see a different doctor,  something's gone wrong,  clearly.  You need to find out what's wrong.  Go back and cry,  beg,  plead and insist you have help.  Good luck.

Was your gallbladder checked?  Was IBS mentioned?

Gallbladder wasn't checked. gastroenterologist said he doesn't think I have IBS.

Ask for your gallbladder to be checked via ultrasound or HIDA scan to rule this out.  Pain under your right shoulder blade or both shoulder blades may indicate gallbladder problems.

Some of your symptoms sound like IBS especially since you have had appendix surgery which can lead to disturbances like IBS. If you hare having discomfort when urinating, the UTI may have come back again. I would see someone else to get a different opinion.
