my husband experienced the same conditions as you, His gp gave him anti-inflammatory drugs and by the time he went to see arthritis consultant the symtoms had all but gone (approx 2 months later). He was advised to cut down tablets to see if the condition came back. They have done various blood tests, he has seen the consultant again today and he feels it was possibly parvo virus and wanted to know if he has been abroad lately.

At his worst he could hardly walk and said he ached from head to foot, even his jaw ached. thankfully the symptoms have now gone away and he feels ok. hope this has been of some use.

hi im a 23 year old girl with a 5 year old son and live by ourselves, in august i wasnt feeling right and i had not long found out i was pregnant, but i had this feeling it wasnt the pregnancy, i couldnt stand for too long as i felt ill in myself and weak, then a few nights later i had this sudden fever and felt freezing, and i started getting absolute pain through my legs, knee caps, and felt achy, whent to see the doc and he said its prob a viral infection, wel sent me home, i was still feeling ill, a week later i started bleeding from down below, went to hospital and found out was having a miscarriage, had blood taken + they said go to your gp as you wcc is low and get checked, i had blood tests done andthey came back that i had parvo virus, and that was more likley to of caused miscarriage, today i still dont feel right in myself and i have been back and forth to the doc, the past 2 months i noticed ive got small lumps on my leg behind my knee, and i get alot of pain in my left leg still, see doc again and he siad its to do with tendons, and for the past week both legs and my knee caps are getting painfull, it seems like the parvo hasnt gone, but it doesnt show on my blood tests that its still present, im really worrying as since i had that virus, i have felt quite not right in myself since, if you could give me any facts or info, i would be most grateful, thankyou.
