You may already be aware of this but low blood glucose levels and dehydration have been closely linked with migraines. You may find some relief in eating small, regular meals of complex carbohdrates ie. grains, pulses, vegetables in order to balance your blood sugar. In addition, drinking at least 1.5 litres of filtered/bottled mineral water should also help with any dehydration issues. Apologies if you know this already; I am a studying nutrition and have found case studies have benefited from this advice. I hope this helps...

It's reasuring to know I'm not the only one who has experienced these things.I also have found that I have a ravenous appetite with Pizotifen and consequently have put on half a stone in 2 weeks. I get hallucinations at night time too, so both these side effects have resulted in me giving up with this drug and looking for another solutions. For me, the side effects were not a good trade for being migraine free.

    Hi,

I was taking 3mg per nightand within 4 weeks I had put on a stone and was so tired. I have now cut them down to 1.5mg and have stopped putting on weight and don't feel as tired.

So maybe you could lower the dose?
