I have been taking seroxat for only 20 days. I noticed some side effects like nausea, weight gain (probably), some trembles (hands) but MOST of it sexual problems (latecome orgasm, low libido). I will try to overcome these siede effects since I believe that it helps me a lot with my mood. I feel much much better. Hope this will last.

I have been taking seroxat for nearly 4 years now and have decreased the dose from 50mls to 20mls but im still not ready to stop taking it.I think this is due to being addicted to the drug not my problems of deppresion, panic attacks and O.C.D as I dont suffer with these ant longer ! I really wish I had never started taking the drug but after having a baby I was very confused and now I put that down to just being a first time mum and never having been around children before.

Since i started on the drug in have out on 5 stone and cannot shift the weight no matter what i do !

If your Dctr suggests taking medication PLEASE PLEASE try another route first as you may find this is much better for you than the problems you face later on like weight , addiction and mood swings due to not being able to stop taking the drug .

i have been taking 20mg paroxetine (Aropax trade name in NZ). I too suffered from nausea, trembling hands and low libido & non exisitent orgasm. i have never really felt 100% but much better than before i went onto it. less panic and depressed feeling. Some nights i have these "mind racing attacks", for want of a better phrase, in which case i take 0.25g Alprazolam (trade name Xanax in NZ). these work very well for in.

However I have run out of paroxetine here in the UK. My doctor in here in UK prescribed me Citalopram 20g. I still feel ok after a few days but i dont know what will happen in the next while. i shall wait and see. i dont like switching medication like this.

I havent suffered any weight gain. smile

I've just gone the other way. Was on 40mg Citalopram daily but felt they were not helping. Asked for Peroxatine 20mg as recommended by a colleague who was on them. On my sixth day and clenching teeth badly. Beginning to wonder if it will get better?

I take Fenugreek and that seems to help with orgasm! Also, when you do reach orgasm, it is a more fulfilling orgasm than a superficial one.
