I have been very dizzy for months and it comes and goes, getting depressed?

I am a 19 year old female. I have been having a lot of problems in the past few months that are making me so anxious, depressed, and it greatly affecting my quality of life. I am a student and need to be able to do school work without feeling like I will fall out of my chair. I have been feeling dizzy; I feel like I am shifting and like the rest of the room is shifting. It creates for very scary feelings and I am so scared to leave my house and drive. I feel like I am going to fall out into the floor when I am standing. I have seen a neurologist and he gave me meclizine but once I woke up the next morning, my face was puffy and I thought it was an allergic reaction. However, I took it about a year ago and I did not have any problems. Do you think I could take that again? It makes me anxious because every medicine has meclizine in it. I am not sure what to do. I have had TMJ pain for about a month and that gives me bad headaches and makes my head feel heavy. I will see a specialist this week. I want to get to the bottom of this because it is greatly affecting me. Every time a vertigo spell comes on, it is worse than the last time.

Can someone help me? I do not know what to do and I don't want this to keep happening. Should I see an ear nose and throat doctor?

also, My ears have been ringing so I took a decongestant to try to drain my ears and I think that made me dizzier. Should I try to take another decongestant pill?

You need to see an ent, you could have Ménière's disease. And it could get worse, do you have severe virtigo for over 20 minutes and the room is legit spinning? When you get virtigo attacks does the room spin?

I tend to have vertigo all day, every day. But sometimes at certain times during the day the vertigo is worse. Especially if I do from laying down to standing up

Maybe migraine associated vertigo?? Any type of decongestant except the drowsy kind may make you dizzier. Even the drowsy one at night can as well. I would keep track of the vertigo and when it comes on (chart foods you at and time of month like when you get your period). Menieres is another vertigo type issue that I think can be controlled by eliminating salty foods from your diet (and you can take meds) otherwise maybe try some sort of migraine meds.

Hi have you had your ears checked out by a ENT? I had all the test do they told me it's not my ears whats causing the problem l turned to the left the ENt said I've got a weak balance system l had a MRI scan that came back clear. I was told by a specialist its anxiety and stress he asked me if I had a trauma in my life. He said put one foot in front of each other with my eyes opened l was not to bad then I closed my eyes l started to sway and turned to the left. Some times I feel like walking on a trampoline. He sent me for vestibular exercises. What are you like walking in the dark?

Ok virtigo is like room spinning and you can't even get up. If you are just having swaying feeling that's not virtigo, have you been on a boat or a plane recently?
