And I also milk my prostate and that has made a big difference in my life but with that and all the meds I take I can't ejaculate and I'm getting really depressed about it.

First of all Chad.  You say you milk your prostate do you get a return from it.  And if you do you should be able to have a ejaculation.  What type of med are you on.  Have you seen a doctor.  Can you tell me a little something about you please  Ken

milk it because my Dr. Said if done right it would help the pressure and I would probably catheter less, and it has done wonders but I am over weight diabetic and take a lot of pain meds depression meds anxity meds and flowmax, now that's many strikes against me but I would still like to ejaculate once in a while.

Well I take a lot of medication one thing I take a lot of pain medication I take a lot of anxiety Xanax being one that is supposed to really kill you I take a lot of depression medication I take medication for diabetes I'm overweight there's a whole slew of different problems I have and I must take about 12:15 different types of medication and I love which helped contribute towards not being able to ejaculate but I have in the past at least done something but now it seems like I'm not doing anything and it's frustrating

Forgive writing if it sounds weird it's that I have to use the audio because I can't type because I have neuropathy or whatever you call it where your hands go numb because of the diabetes and all that so alright thank you

Tamsulosin will cause retrograde ejaculation. Try switch to daily cialis. If you're on fernasteride I think your blue will be less but you'll still ejaculate. At least I do.

Thanks for the additional info. I've heard (not say it's true) that milking an infected prostate can make things much worse. I've also read otherwise. Just getting that out there for others that might be thinking it's the way to go.

So Chadwick tell me do you orgasm when you massage your prostate? Ive heard that an orgasm from prostate massage is really really good. Like way better than the orgasm achieved through penis stimulation. Is this true? Inquiring minds want to know «grin»

Hi Chadwick I sent you a pm. You may want to ask the moderator if they can't delete your phone number. Not good having it on the internet

Okay so I just found out that my phone has a speaker option so I don't have to type so that's a very good thing now I can talk to you what I was going to say to you was that through probably a hundred hours of research after finding out about my condition and having to catheterize myself a million times and having all these problems and everything else and face in this huge surgery which I can't afford I found out about prostate milking the from a couple nurse friends of a couple of nurse friends of mine and so anyway I bought the aneros vice prostate massager with a Lube called Swiss Navy anal lube and it comes with it it's a clove oil so it helps loosen both rings in your butt and you really going to need it for me importantly is that it takes a really really long time for me to get it inserted so I have to really take my time and I've done at about nine times now you asked if I've had a prostate I mean a prostate orgasm and I've had one and it was mind-blowing it absolutely was incredible but I'd still do not ejaculate I do male kegels every single day and you should look that up that's very important especially if you are using this device cuz you can control its pressure going up towards your prostate and away from your prostate I didn't think I was the type of person that would enjoy this but it is really really enjoyable and I have noticed that since I've been using it that when I sit on harder Furniture it does not hurt as much and I don't have to catheterize as often as I did before I can sometimes go two days without having to catheterize and that's a really big deal for me so I suggest it if you're very clean and sanitized and you buy small condoms for it like five six inch condoms and put it on it and I cannot stress this enough use lots and lots of lubrication you cannot have enough and just be very gentle and really relaxed and it's really helped me a great deal in my life it's not a quick fix and it's something you have to do quite often if your prostate is up to it but if not then you might want to check with your physician but I highly recommend it so get back to me and thank you bye

Chad, This is more questions than suggestions but maybe others will respond with comments that will help both of us - or more.  I too have BPH.  I will shortly be 71.  I was diagnosed with BPH about 3+ Years ago.  Was prescribed Flomax.  Side effects for me were terrible.  Retrograde Ejaculation, tiredness, and a myriad of other issues.  Dr. said everything but Retrograde was hardly caused by Flomax.  I cut back from one a day to one every other day.  That helped but still unacceptable.  Told him I was discontinuing until it became unbearable regarding waking up too much, sense of urgency to urinate etc.

    Some of my questions:

    1.  I'm in America - Where are you?

Reason I ask is I have been on many legitimate Medical Websites in U.S. and they tend to say massaging Prostate has not been shown to help BPH or Prostatitis. (I don't have Prostatitis, however, I had one time in my 20's.  Was a "Bear" to get rid of!)

    2.  European Posts seem to be more inclined to think there Is some possible benefits from Prostate Massage.

    3.  Those Posts that say Prostate Massage may be beneficial further say "Be very Gentle as Prostate is a very Sensitive Organ and can be injured.  HOWEVER, My Urologist is anything but Gentle!  He examines, massages, etc to the point seminal fluid drips.  (MY Previous Dr. was even more aggressive and would massage, take a few drips and put that under a microscope in his Office to check for signs of infection. This was YEARS ago.)

    4.  If I decide to try the Prostate Massage, is there a True Medical Massage Device/Vibrator?  The Web is inundated with Prostate Massage vibrators for supposed Pleasure but I personally have never found having my Prostate massaged Pleasurable!

Thoughts, comments, etc. from all out there?  I'm lucky to still be sexually active at my age in spite of my BPH and would like to discontinue Meds and/or any type surgery as long as possible.

Thanks to all in advance!  Ernie

Erie yes there is a device that is used. If i recall the device was made from.glass. If you Google it you will find a how to video. And I mean literally how to like showing everything

First a woman does herself I forget the purpose of that. Then they show man doing it. It's not a porn site or anything like that There wasn't any mention of orgasm if I recall correctly. I've been tempted to try it but if any of the stories of making symptoms worse are true I want no part of it.

Thank You for your response.  I googled this about 2 Months ago and all the "Sex Toy" Providers Popped up.  Not criticizing anyone who may find this a "fun" addition to their Sex Life but I personally am trying to just retain mine as long as possible and also hopefully reduce the effects of BPH which causes me to get up to Urinate several times each night.  As I mentioned, the legitimate Medical Sites I have researched say "No evidence of helping BPH or Prostatitis" so I'm wary of the sites that come up that say "80% of Purchasers say they experienced some Relief".  However, in reflecting, my regular MD of almost 50 years ago Massaged my Prostate vigorously each week for about 6 weeks while keeping me on Augmentin for Prostatitis during that time so apparently it WAS considered of benefit back then.  I'm still going to research the Glass Device.  Regards.
