I have Chronic Fatigue/M.E and I am 11 weeks pregnant. Can't cope help!

I have suffered from M.E for 6 years and have had good years where I can hold down a full time job and bad years where I couldn't get out of bed from flu symptoms and pain.

This year has been terrible and I've already had 4 months off sick from my new full time job.

Amazingly I've been able to get pregnant which I never thought would happen.

I'm struggling to cope physical and financially.

I'm also scared I will lose my new job before my maternity starts and even scarier what happens if I can't look after my new born.

Is there anyone who has chronic fatigue/m.e and has advise on what to expect?

thank you

    Hi,

I know this is a late reply as u posted a while back but thought u might appreciate some response!

I have lupus and chronic fatigue, I have a 3yr old and a 6 month old and yes it can be very hard at times but I think u just manage somehow because u just have to! I know I'm very hard on myself but I think I need to learn not to be and as long as my kids are happy, fed etc I think will be ok! Everything else just doesn't matter X

Are u on your own or do u have a partner? Not being nosey! Like I said u just do it somehow the best u can, do u have any support/family/friends etc?

Especially with just one child u can sleep and rest when they do.

The worst time I had was when I was pregnant with my 2nd, my son was only 2 and the first 12 wks were awful I was so tired and sick it was unbelievably hard but I got through it!
