I have chronic pain already, and when this returns, typically yearly, I cannot take the pain!

I've experienced Bartholin cysts about once or twice a year now, for about 10 years. They are not related to an STD, but if i sit down too aggressively on a hard surface, and a few times from intercourse. I suffer from chronic migraines, and back/neck pain from my job, but these bring me to my knees. It is always limited to the right side, and I am interested in the marsupialization procedure. I am recently insured, and would greatly appreciate any information about if this is covered and where I would get the procedure done. I have UNITED HEALTH CARE, and would like to have this done as quickly and successfully as possible. It will no longer drain naturally the way it used to, and I can't deal with pain anymore. I even attempted to lance it myself in order to drain it, but didn't want to cause more problems with infections. ANY AND ALL ADVICE would be greatly appreciated. Feeling desperate-please help!

I wouldn't reccomend marsupilization. Try every and all natural methods before you consider that . Many women complain of reoccurring.
How is your diet ?

By the way I just had mine burst yesterday morning. It was extremely painful that I can not even walk and seat. I tried every options that I have. I used turmeric with coconut oil and antibiotic. My husband did poke using a 5cc syringe as I know pus and blood are about to burst then it burst. After I went to my OB and he cleaned the area with betadine.

Hi my lovely, I'm so sorry to hear of this. I too had them yearly, the same as you; pressure seemed to bring it on, as time passed i also noticed it matched my when my period came. I've had it lanced and drained, a balloon catheter (which was botched and now mentally scarred me possibly for life) and an operation procedure twice to go in and remove all the cyst sack (thats what causes it coming back, try feeling where you get the cyst when its not there i'm sure you'll be able to feel a small ball like lump) I had this procedure done twice as the first time they never totally got it out so i had it happen twice again before i had another surgery this time my gyno operated herself - this was two years ago near christmas and i can say ive never had it come back since. i do have scarring and an almost ghost pain sometimes, where sometimes i have the same pain i used to get before i had the cyst but it never mounts to anything (touch wood!!) I Suggest you ask your gyno about removing the cyst and if that doesnt work then removing the gland. i really hoped this helped! Also when u get your cyst and it pops naturally, try squeeze out the pus yourself- its not painful but it might help how often it comes back xxx
