I have contact dermitits around my mouth, now the inside of my mouth feels swollen sore and my tongue feels like I have burnt it

My doctor doesn't seem to have a clue what is wrong and has given me antibiotic cream, steroid cream and now anti fungal tablets nothing seems to improve. This has been going on for over 3 months and there has been no change. Some days are worse than others any ideas?

Try a mouthwash with Sage--it is excellent for mouth infections. I don't know whether it will be effective in your case, but it is worth a try. Make sure it is organic, though (you don't want any poisons in your mouthwash...). Put a few leaves in boiling water, remove the mixture from heat 3 minutes later and leave for ten minutes. When it cools wash your mouth with it. If it is to be effective, you will feel the relief instantly. You can keep the mixture in the fridge for a week.

HI, a friend of mine recently found a new company that makes 100% natural creams that are great for eczema, and skin conditions. google White Holly and see their Hemp Lip Balm, it may work for you.

Has it been diagnosed as contact dermatitis or is this what you think it is? Contact dermatitis is just what it says, contact. Have you been using anything that goes near or into your mouth like toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss, makeup? Are you on or have you been on any medication? Have you had any dental work done, piercings etc. Dare I mention oral sex?If it's confined to just the lips and mouth area then it must be caused by something that goes near or in your mouth. Have a good think and see if these suggestions bring up any clues to what is causing your problem.
