Hi. I'm 14. I suffer from severe hypochondria and death anxiety. I have a lot of goals I'd like to achieve in the future, but I get so sad and discouraged because i dont see a future for myself. Whenever I think about being 20, I say to myself "Am i even gonna make it that long?"

I'm so discouraged.

    You will see 20!

You need some help, right now. Have you seen a doctor or counsellor? Are your parents and friends supportive?

Don't give up. Many teens go through this and survive. Please get some help.

Hi pet did you post before asking what we thought happened after we die? Listen non of knows what is ahead of us and really that is a good thing. You can't allow your fears stop you from living so set your goals and work towards them. You are afraid l know however you have to realise this do you remember being born.Probably not and death is the same.l have been around a lot of death and they have all been very peaceful.l hope l haven't scared you.We all only have now so make it as good as you can.

I mean I think I'm more scared of what comes after death. I'm really scared of hell and I have a feeling I'm gonna go to hell .

That's your mind scaring you.l felt like that when I was young l was brought up in a religious household and even if l had a bad thought I was going to hell in my mind.As time passed l came to realise l wasn't a bad person and that we all have good and bad in us.l don't believe in heaven or hell.l believe if you do your best in life and show kindness to others you will not be punished when you die.
