I have recently been told I have demylination after suffering with a lot of pain in my neck, shoulders, lower back, abdomen, both knees and thighs, I get pins and needles in both feet which travel up the leg, lots of headaches, fatigue all the time, unable to sleep, cant get comfortable sitting or laying down, cramping in hands and toes, vision is very very poor and I've had swelling behind the eyes which has recently improved, I'm 32 and normally very active, I like using the gym a lot riding my bike and walking my dog for miles, but the passed few months this has been really hard for me, my body wont physically allow me, I push myself because I wont let anything defeat me but I'm in a lot of pain while doing any form of exercise even just walking, riding my bike is very painful on my legs and back now, and due to having a stuff painful neck I cant tuen my head left or right quick because it feels like the muscles are going to tare so it's not safe to ride my bike, I am always tired, very emotional a lot of the time and get angry because I'm in so much pain in multiple parts of my body and its stopping me from doing things, even everyday tasks had become a chore, I dont tell anyone how I'm feeling, but I'm generally scared, the doctor hasnt told me anything more other than I have this disease and need to see a specialist, they said I need a nerve pain killer but it interacts with other medication so they just gave me tramadol which just makes me feel sick, I would really appreciate it if anyone has been diagnosed with this and can tell me what to expect or what it is, I am young and scared and the doctors in my area are useless and dont tell us nothing, they have told me I have this from the result of the mri scan and that I need to see a specialist but that is it, and all I know is that I am in a lot of pain and dont feel myself at all, constantly tired and just generally had enough, I would be greatful for any information, thank you for reading take care and stay safe everyone x
