I have done UFE last year is like it does not work or it work for the little o es, now i have 3 big

One is 135.9 mm, 150.6 now they offer me only hisyerectomy

What should i do ??? I want to have baby

    You do not have to go through with a hysterectomy if you do not want to, it is your body. Doctors  just want to do what is quickest and easiest for them, but don't be pushed into anything you do not want.  If you want to have a child then you need to be insistent. If your current gynaecologist will not listen and offer appropriate treatment options then ask to be referred to another for a second opinion.

    Have you tried any hormone therapy to shrink the fibroids (Esmya, Zoladex, etc) or just the UFE?

      Just UFE , maybe i should try esmya , but with the size i have it can be shirink???

      Some one had shirinked size like this before with esmya???

      Please help

    Have they mentioned Myomectomy as I'm sure you will be eligible for an open procedure. I have read that Women who wish to have children are often offered this. 

    Hope this helps and remember do what is best for you not what the hospital thinks is best.

    Hi Brigitte, don't accept until you don't see other specialists. I have had a laparoscopic myomectomy for fibroids , 7cm the largest one and my fertility wasn't affected. I too wants to have kids and the doctor was very competent and experienced in fibroids and made sure that my uterus is not affected by the operation. I have had mine done 2 weeks ago but I had to have it done private in Romania at a fertility hospital called Wellborn, the prices are very good and all was done in about a month after I contacted them. I live in London and the NHS all they done in 18 months was to put me on a pill and on a long waiting list but I would like kids as I am nearly 35 so I had to find another option as I can't wait. It worked very good for me. Let me know should you wish to know more about my procedure or the doctor details. 

    Rember is is always a better option than the one we were told.
