I have flu like symptoms and tingling sensation at site of dog bite after 10 days.

I was bit by a dog in my right ankle. I washed my wounds almost immediately and got my first shot of vaccine on that day. Next day I got RIG shot. I have been following the vaccination schedule completely: got my shots on Day 3 and Day 7. The dog is also healthy after 10 days. However I have flu like symptoms and a tingling sensation near the bite site. Please advise.

    Nobody on here can advise regarding a dog bite and especially as I am presuming your in a country where its possible to be infected with possibly rabies, correct me if I'm wrong though.

    You should definitely ring your medical practitioner and I'm sure they will give you better advice.

    Im sure your just maybe reacting to the vaccine anyway.
