I have found the cause of my gerd

I had gerd for about 20 some years. Didn't know it and took ranitidine on and off for years (20+).
Since I am not selling anything to anyone but just wanted everyone that reads this to try this cure I found. For all my life I hated fish. Hated the smell and the taste. But when I married a japanese women I decided to try and eat it. I had trouble with the fish, so I wondered what the big deal with fish was all about. so.... I started taking fish old pills (from the grocery store) once a day.
I noticed after a few weeks that my stomach felt better after taking the pill.. but later in the day it would start hurting again (standard for me after 20 years). So I took another fish oil pill in the afternoon and darn it, my stomach felt better each time I tried it. When I finallyh realized it was the fish oil (with omega-3) and not anything else, I dumped the rest and started taking the fish oil all the time.
My best results are these. I take 3 of the capsules (1,050 millagrams omega-3) in the morning. Then 2 in afternoon, then 3 more before bed.
Each time I take them I am surprised because I get the same relief from pain as I got from ranitidine tablet. Occasionally, I eat too much and have to add a ranitidine on top, but I can tell that after 20+ years the pain is finally going away (as in Healing up!!!!)
You don't have to trust me, or believe me, but I urge anyone with long term GERD to try it.
after studying it to account for what is happening to me, I heard that the omega-3 coats the stomach. I noticed other benefits also. I never used laxatives but I really don't need them now.. cause the fish oil seems to allow the food to slide though the stomach and intestines like a greased pig (sorry bad joke...).
I will not reply to anything here, cause I found what I need. I suspect many people may benefit from this and I urge anyone that does to reply back here and encourage others to
try it as well.
Remember if you think you need an antacid get a bottle of fish oil pills and swallow 3 (or more) of them. I hate the taste and if I have gerd (reflux) it's pretty gross, but despite the smell of my breath (fishy) and the taste if I burp, the rest of it is, I believe for me a life saver. Since it's cheap and you get it any grocery store, try it.
It seems to be the 1 gram of omega 3 that does it. Less than that only partially works for me. More then that makes no difference, you can only get 100% pain free, so just keep taking it.
I saw an explanation while watching you-tube videos about sugar being dangerous and making us fat and the explanation was that omega - 3 coats the stomach with mucous an that protects it from the stomach acid. It was said to work with fiber like a shower drain screen. The fiber provides the framework (against the walls of the stomach and intestine) and the omega-3 provides the blockage (mucous) between the fibers to stop the stomach acid from eating the lining.
So, I am done now. Take this for what it's worth and get a bottle of fish oil capsules and try them. I recommend... to start with only 1. Do not go crazy. I noticed the stomach in my case was a bit delicate at first. If you take 10 capsules.. don't be surprised if you throw up or something. I felt queasy a few times. but fish oil.... is a food. I take 3 at a time and it works for me. I will continue for the rest of my life cause for the first time in years and years, my stomach is pain free. It is and was damaged, but it has been slowly healing and when I can go through an entire day with no pain whatsoever, I feel it's only fair to tell other people know.
good luck.

The last time that I took them I was burping up fish oil but I'll try them again. I'll add them to Aloe Vera juice regimen which is, so far, really making a difference. But I want to point out that you should check your medicine interactions even with supplements like fish oil and Aloe Vera, maybe talk to your doctor.
