For two years I have been having episodes where my eyes feel like they are going to pop out of head followed by vertigo and horrible headache. It only last a few minutes but the headache much longer. Any suggestions what I should do. My Dr. says it is just vertigo and I should go to physical therapy to put my rocks back in place. Does not make sense. I can just be sitting watching tv when it starts.

no it doesnt make sense because most doctors only know of the crystal BPPV- recent literature i have read says vestibular migraines is the second leading cause of vertigo, yet not many doctors know a thing about it. i have VM- i can suggest you find a dizzy clinic, otolaryngologist, nuero-ontology. ENTs even dont know neither do regular nuerologists. i never would be better today had i just taken that BPPV diagnosis. you mention headaches. eyes pooping. go to one of these doctors. there is actual testing caloric testing that should be done on you. it doesnt sound like you are getting right treatment and disgnosis. i am on a medication norotryptiline to straighten my brain out and am working to get control of my migraines. they can be silent migraines too. google it. my otolaryngologist saved me.

I have had a dx of VM as well. My neurologist told me there's nothing I can do for it. She tried to prescribe an anti-convulsion drug for it. I said no. She then told me to try magnesium. I'd be interested in any advice you can give me. My last episode (before the one I'm currently almost through) was around Thanksgiving. I made it 8 months.

ask for norotryptiline. useless nuerologists. they dont know anything about this. nor do they even try to find out. noro has saved me
