I have had MdDS for 2 & 1half years 24 hours a day. I live with it by staying busy. Any suggestions

I went to Australia back in 1989 and came back with floating whenever under stress. Now it has sat in and NEVER leaves. My MD doesn't understand it. When in a car or moving vehicle it stops. Is there any help out there for me? When walking I feel like my feet are walking on one huge half full balloon.

Have you seen a neuro-otologist? They specialize in inner ear and might be able to help you. Or a neurologist. Feel better.

Likewise I felt mostly okay whilst driving, obviously feet are off the floor and they are part of the balance sensors for sending messages to the brain about spatial awareness. Back on my feet felt like I was walking around on a bouncy castle and stumbling around like a drunken sailor. Do you think that the flight to Australia may have affected your inner ear. I know when I fly now my ears are much more sensitive and so is my balance once I'm off the plane, All due to cabin pressure. I was eventually diagnosed with silent migraines, but my left ear is super sensitive now due to a head injury years ago which caused permanent tinnitus and neurosensory damage. I occasionally get BPPV in my left ear too.
