I have had swollen glands for over a year now in my armpits. I have visited 3 doctors and had three different problems diagnosed yet i am still swollen and now in pain with it. One doctor said that it was through excessive sweating so i have now been referred to try botox. However another doctor said that it could be cancer related. So now i am on the internet just trying to find out ways to reduce the swelling and pain. Who knows what i have but i'll keep you updated.

I found a swollen gland in my armpit over a year ago, went to see two Doctors - both said that it was localized fat, one of them sent me for a biopsy but I did not go as I thought if it's only fat there is not need... I have found the gland to be more noticeable in the past couple weeks and tender to the touch, getting a bit worried - should I do something about it?!:?

Hi there i have just been looking through comment related to swollen lymph glands in the armpit and thought i would reply to your comment in particualar.About a year ago i found a thickening in my right breast for which i had a scan and the doctors told me it was just thickening of breast tissue possibly formed after having my son 4 years ago.The scan was a couple of years ago now but for the past couple of weeks i have noticed that my right armpit is very painful on and off,and i can feel a couple of ball type things which are smaller than pea size and i assume that they are my lymph nodes.I keep telling myself i should go to the doctors but i felt as though i wasted their time the last time i visited. What should i do? Im scared but also hopeful it could just be a swelling which can be caused by virus and colds etc. Thanks for reading and i hope you can let me know how you are.Best wishes,Hayley.

Hi, I'm a male, early 50's and developed a lump in my right chest (breast) not long ago. I had ultrasound and mamogram. Next was a biopsy. All was clear as far as tests for cancers etc however, I was then told that I would need to have this lump surgically removed.

I saw 3 different doctors including a breast surgeon. A friend asked me to see a Bowen practitioner which I did 2 weeks ago. Within 12 hours of my first visit this lump was reduced by 50%. Within 1 week it had virtually gone. The reason for this lump was a blocked lymph gland in my neck. Once unblocked, the fluids making this lump was able to be released. The unblocking procedure was by way of gentle massage, non invasive, and took 20 seconds. A little uncomfortable but no pain. I suggest you visit a Bowen Practitioner ASAP, they really are good. I do not know where you are in the world however a search on the internet should point you to a local pratitioner. All the best, Brian
