These do not hurt. I didn't even notice them until i felt a weird texture while showering and realised it doesn't look the same/normal down there. Since then I've reflected back that I've noticed some white discharge which id thought was normal. After rough sex I'd get a little burn while peeing and i got sore down there. ALSO thought it was normal. Is this VP or genital warts?

there is no treatment unfortunately it just comes as our vaginas change over the years, it is not a disease or a sti it doesnt usually cause any symtoms or pain other than they are not very nice to look at. the joys of been a woman lol

Thank you. is it normal for vp to get swollen/enlarged after sex? The friction makes these lisions irritated/ bigger

Vestibular papillomatosis isn’t caused by having sex or poor hygiene. However, keeping your vaginal area clean may help keep it from getting worse. If you use harsh soap or scrub the growths too hard, you may make it worse If you’re diagnosed with vestibular papillomatosis, your outlook is excellent. It’s not dangerous, usually has no symptoms, and requires no treatment. If for some reason you want to be treated, your doctor can perform a simple surgical procedure to remove the papillae.

*** it just sucks to have them*** very uncommon i

    to have.

i really have no idea. Hopefully someone responds. Im waiting for my hpv results. But my doctor said regardless of whether its genital warts or vp, she is going to give me s cream that freezes them so that they go away. Not sure if they dont go away on their own but ive noticed mine for about a month now. They havent gone down. Only get worse/swollen after sex. ive chosen to abstain until they are gone, if they do even go away. hopefully they do because i cant get used to this new anatomy of my genital area.

UPDATE: I went to the doctor and she said it looked like genital warts. I did a pap smear and hpv test. i came back positive for high risk hpv. As much as what i have looks like vp to me and other people, i guess the doctor always knows best. Please do not take what we say in the forum as the diagnosis, go get checked so youre sure.
