I have lost my sex drive and its getting between me and my husband of 40 years

I had a hysterectomy when I was 32 I am now 60 I've been married for 40 years and my sex drive has become 0

    Are you currently on any medication which could effect your sex drive, worth a check if you are.

    have you discussed this with you GP/health care professional? theres absolutely nothing they haven't heard before or they wont be happy to discuss. You should be able to specify a female doctor and most of the nurses or nurse practitioners are female.

    i saw a nurse practitioner recently and while we were discussing my health I mentioned I had some ongoing issues with post menopausal itching and dryness. She said "theres nothing worse than an itchy vuvu is there?" (not sure about the spelling). Not only did this make me laugh but it put us on the same level and I thought "theres nothing I couldn't discuss with this wonderful woman"

    Hi there

    Ive heard some men say that if theyre not getting sex their male ego is threatened or feels its in jeopardy or demasculates them (whether its true is another story) I think a lot of women would like to think its true though lol

    although you had a hysterectomy at 32 do you still have a bit of discomfort?
