I have minor inflammation beneath the head of my penis. Can anybody tell me the severity of this?

I was masterbating frequently and noticed some swelling around my penis on the end of my shaft right before the head. It's in the shape of a ring. I stopped masterbating but it's still there. There's no pain associated with it but I can feel it. Can somebody tell me if this is severe or if the swelling will ever go down?

I do not see anything alarming. I am not a medical professional at all. However, it is hard to determine how swollen it is without knowing how it is normally. Masturbating can certainly cause it to swell up. I would only wash your penis with warm water to avoid further irritation. Just make a doctor appointment and express your concerns but certainly nothing to be alarmed of.

It is most likely a Penile Lymphocele - do not masturbate for 3 to 5 weeks, should slowly fade. If it remains after 5 weeks see a medical professional

here is some detail from a medical source:

    .

    Lymphocele

    .

This is a hard swelling that suddenly appears on the shaft of the penis after sex or masturbation. It happens when the lymph channels in your penis are temporarily blocked. The swelling is made up of Lymph which is a clear fluid that forms part of the body’s immune system. The swelling should soon subside and will not cause any permanent problems.
