i have my operation of bartolins cyst and have my monthly period, i am worried

I've been in marsupialization in 4 days now after my operation. but i got worrid because i had my 1st day of my period...and the was very fresh and I am afraid maybe my wound wil be infected...please advise

    Hi Kate,

    My marsupialization healed over within 2 days.  I suspect yours has healed over already.  I have had heaps of cysts in my life and when they open they heal over so fast...within a day often.  I wouldnt be too concerned.  ps my marsupialization never worked.  I control it and treat it naturally...it has been years since I have had to go to medical people.  I think I have had one this year.   xxxxxx

    lots of good info on this forum in regard to natural remedies.  One particular silica spray is my best friend.
