I Have Nausea, Dizziness, Stomach pain, Neck pain. Help!!

Hello everyone. Since I've not been feeling well this days, I thought someone here could help me. I'm 26years old and have good health.

It's all started after a hard workout at gym. 2 months ago I started gym becouse I'm a bit skinny so I wanted to gain weight. The second week I had leg day and I did a heavy workout program (I shouldn't have done it) and during that I experienced a 'wave' that started from my legs and went through my head. After 5 minutes I experienced extreme dizziness, nausea as I was going to throw up. Those symptoms were familiar to me becouse my brother went through this before. I barely got home and couldn't stay on my feet but I couldn't stay in bed either. So I went to the Emergency, no fever, i had a bit tension but nothing to worry as the doc said it was normal. 2 hours later I felt normal again. After 2 days I went to the gym again and kept exercising and nothing happened. When suddenly one day when I went for coffee, I started experiencing nausea and dizzines the moment I sat down and surfing on my smartphone. This happened two other times. I was worried so I cut off coffee and smoking(I smoke for the past 10 years). After 5 days feeling normal again, i was on a work trip and drunk coffe and started smoking again. When I got home those feelings started again. I deffinetly thought it was coffee and smoking that made me like that. So I stoped them again. At that time neck pain started. I went to a nephrologist (I was experiencing kidney pain and my urine was dark yellow with a full smell). I made an abdominal eco, an urine test, some blood test(Kidney, liver total blood count, hepatitis) and an ECG (I started to be anxious, burning pain and I thought I had heart problems).Blood test came clear, ECG too but i found out i had a 6mm kidney stone. Then I went to the ear doctor to see if I had middle ear problems. Made an audiogram, she said no ear problems. I made a graphy of my neck but no problem either. Those days i experienced two extreme vertigo in the morning when I woke up but only two times).

Curently speaking, I have stomach pains and feel nauseous time to time and lightheaded. Some days are good, some days are bad. No more dizziness and vertigo, only nausea, stomach pain and a light nech pain. No weigh loss.

I read anxienity can cause all this feelings and the past 5 months I've been extremily stressed and sad becouse my mother was diagnosed with cancer. But this feelings came out of nowhere after that workout day and won't stop.

What can it be? Anyone have experienced this? I'm worried having something serious. Thank you, sorry for the long writing and probably about my english.

Hello, I'm no medical professional but it may seem like you have anxiety I also have anxiety just know you're not alone with these pains. You tend to focus on what your body feels feeling like it will be a panic attack stress is also one of the main things as well if you stress you get anxiety please go see a doctor right away and describe to the best of your ability the pains you are going through I'm sorry to hear about your mother and hope she can get through cancer I currently have really bad anxiety where the point I think about my heart will stop all day and night but truth be told it's just in my head I'd recommend stop drinking any caffeine and change your diet a bit you can try yoga to calm the body and focus on breathing and try to breathe through a brown paper bag. If this does not help I'm sorry, but you can also try getting more exercise taking walks, hiking.

Hey there. Thank you for replying to me. I know anxiety can cause many physical symptoms and I can agree with that, but this symptoms came one week later after that heavy workout and still having nausea and a painful stomach. It would be great to know that are stress symptoms related but I always think the worse. And the worst thing is that I can't even take care of my mom now and feel so shamed and very useless. Thank you again.

Could be dehydration. Especially since you said the first time was during a work out and that your urine was dark and had a full smell. And yes it can continue symptoms for a while if you are walking around still dehydrated or after you get enough water and dehydrate again. If you go to the bathroom and your urine is yellow, you are already dehydrated. Most people are and don't know it. Your urine should be a pale yellow to gold color. Also caffeine (coffee) dehydrates you. Dehydration can cause may issues in your body including body aches and pains. Try replacing coffee with water. Don't drink too much water in one sitting because that's not good either. Make sure to eat foods with a lot of water in them. And if you are working out you definitely need more water and proper nutrition. Also kidney stones can form from you not flushing your kidneys with enough water. Salts, minerals, and other substances can build up causing kidney stones. Hope I helped.

Hey there. Yes, most of the time Iv'e been dehydrated becouse:

-I've drunk coffee and smoke and didn't want to drink water after that.

-Have a urgent feeling going to urinate after I drink.

But now Iv'e started to drink more water(around 2 liters per days) becouse of the stone but nausea, stomach pain and stiff neck is still present. When I'm not nauseos, I'm very hungry and my stomach feels empty. Iv'e had stomach problems since I was 15 and I'm used to that, but never experienced nausea with no cause.

At first thought Iv'e been losing weight too, but I was normal, no weigh loss.

I had one week feeling normal and hoped it wouldn't have returned again but I was wrong.

      Thanks again.

It could be just anxiety/depression which I suffer from. I had the same symptoms back in 2011? Neck pain/stiff neck, stomach feeling empty/hungry feeling, and weight loss. I was also severely dehydrated that's why I thought dehydration and it did take me a while to feel better and gain weight. I also went to the bathroom a lot and although I drunk a lot of water, I couldn't seem to hydrate. I also drank some amounts of gatorade recommended by a doctor. So your electrolytes could be off too.  Not sure how much was anxiety/depression and how much was dehydration. Probably a mixture of both. But I know dehydration definitely placed a part. I still have anxiety/depression but I have gained weight and have none of the symptoms of before. I also had a stomach virus at the time too so that caused some of the issues. I also was not eating right. I was thinking also it might be my thyroid since I still have anxiety/depression issues which came out of nowhere like yours did. Look up thyroid disease. It can cause nausea, dizziness, weight loss and other symptoms. There is hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. Some people can have a mixture of both. I will get mine checked. Hope you feel better soon!

I have all your symptoms. Don't know what i have right now but all the same. I got checked up 1.5 years ago and found my loss of weight, nausea"i thought i was pregnant and im a 41 year old man lol" found i have gastritis. Had to change all that i eat. Coffee was a gonner.i took on decaf. Its ok for me if i eat too. My cigars are awful. Cramps up my stomach sphincter. Yes we have two butt Holes lol. I bet you have gastritis buddy. Sorry. The pain in the neck will pass and since this is an old forum i pray you are better. If you still are nauseous let them go through you're bum and look at your stomach. I lost 15 lbs due to not being able to eat. It hurt when food entered my stomach. So had no appetite. Im starting to suffer the nausea again so the cigars must go. Wish me luck. God bless
