I have never had one last this long... Any suggestions?

I have had HS for about 23 years. When I was 13 a doctor Lanced one that I had on my panty line. It has since become a hardened area of painful scar tissue and I still get outbreaks in that spot. For the last 2 or 3 months it has developed a tract with several heads and has become very painful and I cannot get it to go away. When it does drain it is mostly a clear bloody liquid, not the normal drainage you usually find. Any suggestions on how to get this to go away?

I would go to a dermatologist or surgeon to have them scrape the cystic material out of all the tunnels. If the tunnels are very deep or really large, they may have to pack it after they scrape it out.

That's what I had to do before I went into remission. Hope you feel better soon!

that's what I feared :-( I was hoping there was some sort of magic remedy that was super cheap and not painful but that's just silly... It looks like that may be my only hope because this one is no good! Thanks for the reply Crystal :-)

hi I agree.  The only way to stop this is to get it incised by a surgeon.   I have had several of mine done like this and they have never come back.  x
