I have noticed a small black patch on my anus. Could it be melanoma?

I am a 34 year old female. I have hemorrhoids, but the black area is not anywhere on the swollen tissue. It's a separate black patch about 6 mm in length and 2 mm wide. It does not look like a blood clot. More like a dark black skin discolouration. and the colouring is a little uneven.

I asked my GP, but he only said he didn't know what it was.
