Hi, on 2 occasions when I started to reduce the Pred, I felt very light headed /dizzy and nauseous. (I think I had chosen the wrong times, coinciding with physically exhausting and emotional times in my life eg moving house!) 3rd time, lucky. Good luck. Jane

NEVER try to reduce when there is a lot going on - especially once you get below 10mg or so. Your adrenal function is likely to tbe a bit compromised and then dealing with stress just doesn't go well!

EileenH, as always words of wisdom. I think I will slow my taper down. Have some more testing coming up do not need another flare. Ski season here has been poor, had one day on 14 inches of fresh light powder. Still positive and smiling. 🙂

We have plenty of snow - and now plenty of sun and it is a bit warm! Wish I could still go out there.

I wish you could also, skiing has been my favorite thing to do since I was 17, would hate to be so near and not be able to make a few turns. And skiing in the warm sun is unbelievable. Hope you and your husband are doing well.

Thinking positive with a smile. 🙂

I have been feeling light-headed and get dizzy for the last 4 months. But I've been on Prednisone for a little over a year so I don't know if mine is caused by the prednisone.

I seem to get lightheaded, now and then, when I am having a PMR flare.  I don't think it's the pred.
