I have recently changed my blood pressure tablets, due to low potassium.....

Also I have been suffering with knee pain which has been under control with codeine sulphate and milder pain killers....Can the new blood pressure tablets be causing the knee joint to be in chronic pain with no relief

    Hi. You don't state what tablets you're on, but I've been on Amlopodine and Ramipril which both gave me stiff & painful joints, including knees. I'm now on Candesartan, and slowly my pain is decreasing.

    I suggest you look on the internet at the side effects to the drug to see if it causes joint pain. But more importantly, you should contact the prescribing physician. Hope you get some relief soon.

      you can talk to your physician to change the tabs and prescribe Telmisartan..its one of the best BP Drug
