I have recently started getting really bad Anxiety

Hi guys,

for the past couple of months I have had really bad anxiety after what is thought to have been some sort of stomach bug which has then changed itself into some mild form of vertigo (vestibulo ocular reflex dysfunction according to an ENT specialist)

Does anyone have any tips as I do see a therapist once a week now who believes my symptoms are being brought on by anxiety which is being released after never having it before.

I get anxious going out now, going to the gym, going to social events etc. and this never used to happen to me before. I have even removed myself from certain situations as I start to feel really uneasy, nauseas and dizzy so I just leave and go home.

I have always been a worrier and overthinker but not to this level before. Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this or if there is anything I should do to help overcome this problem?

thanks!

Matt.

    Feel your pain mate.

No advice as I'm as bad as you are (mouth symptoms here) but I'm convinced if I fix the crippling anxiety then I'll be OK.

I think most biggies docs can spot so don't fret about that. I find that hard exercise sorts me if that helps. And stay off the beer...

    Take it easy pal.
