I have rsd and I think its getting worse

I have rsd and started going to a pain center and the pain wasn't to bad but now its like it hit me and one time the pain is so aweful the meds ain't helping anymore its burns and I Dont like to b touched on my right wrist at all now it will scream in pain and it was never this bad and my upper arm is starting to hurt bad and burning the burning was never really bad but its like everything has hit me and I'm starting to get really scared any suggested out there

    Sorry to hear your struggling at the moment, Hopefully other sufferes will be able to advise you better but I would suggest researching as much as you can. Involve your family and try to get to understand what your having to cope with and try to remain positive.

    I'm sorry but in 77% of us it spreads and/or starts in other parts of the body from a trivial trauma., mine started in hte right hand, the use of a sensitivity pin on the arm caused it to spread from below wrist upto elbow. Then it started in both legs

    Well thank god mine hasn't spread we are gonna do a trial run on the stimulate for ur back that's implanted a lot ppl go without pain and led a normal life so we are trying that

    Most of the US top specialists have stop using them. Survey found that in 66% of cases they caused CRPS at the incision sites. Many had to undergo further surgerys because of the wires moving or batterry problems and these caused further spreads. Some said that even though they had new CRPS sites the pain was still lowered but after 3 years the effectiveness was reduced to virtually zero

    Out of all my Dr has done they never had a problem out of it no more spreading or using painkiller and are living a pain freel life as of now and do what they couldn't have done maybe some ppl just want to take pills forever but I'm 26 I Dont want to on pills my whole life I'll try anything to see if I can enjoy life instead of watching my kids grow up I want to b happy in it

    As long as you are aware of the risks beforehand then it's your choice. I have to fight this with no drugs or any form of medication, I am als one of the 7 - 8% whose wounds may never heal, flying ant bites on my legs on 22/7/11 took until Jan of thisd year to heal, so I won't risk any operation making things worse so I would never take the chance of an SCS making things worse

    That's a chance I will take bc I want my life back I refuse to let it win and do whatever it wants to do I Dont want to sit around and just wait for the end everyone is different and I'll the that chance bc they have good out comes not a problem out of them im not gonna sit in pain and not enjoy my life

    You do realise this will only reduce the pain levels, it will not affect any of the other 15 symptoms.

    Yes I do know that I have checked it all out the pian is my biggest thing so I will have it done ok thanks for all the info
