Michael, a dental school might be your best bet, a lot of what they do is free. It sounds like you're in the States? I am. If yes, many low income clinics also either have their own low income dental clinics or have ties to health foundations that provide some dental care.

I hope you can find some help.

I'm sorry Michael. I don't know where you live but can you get on some sort of disability or government medical care. Do you take any saliva producing medication? Also you can purchase over the counter gels, toothpaste and mouthwash called Biotene. Hope this helps.

MIchael, I am new to this site and just read your post - i am experiencing the same issue... though mine is also due to prior dental work that is now failing.  I have always been a habitual teeth cleaner - flossing & brushing atleast twice a day, keep a toothbrush/mouthwash bag at work, etc.,

Appearance is crucial for my livelihood, this has devasted & humiliated me as well. At present I am glueing tooth veneers on using resin kits purchased online - any true permanent restoration is wildy out of my budget; and I have very good insurance!  $40-$60K at a minimum, considered “cosmetic”  (who needs teeth to eat, or speak properly?) so not covered by insurance.  And mind you i’ve already laid out 8K for the veneers/onlays that have disintegrated from my mouth.

Have you discovered any sort of solution?  I am with you in desperation... would appreciate any advice, and will share any insights i find.

I fully understand how you are feeling. I have spent a fortune on my teeth and have been attending the dentist for over 20 years......
