I have stabbing pain in rectal area

I am 34 Male and having stabbing pain in my rectal area for past 6 months. It started after I was diagnosed with Kidney stone. The pain radiates to buttocks and to back. Recently colonoscopy was conducted and found the presence of a mild fissure (non Bleeding). The medicines and creams provided did not help with the pain. Pain gets when sitting for sometime, after tight bowel movement, after bike ride. Some please give some information to how to deal with this problem. It affects my daily life a lot. I feel like to be on bed always.

I think it all depends on your willingness to have surgery. I went 6 months with pain and I would do almost anything to get rid of the pain. Others may recommend you try other things before surgery. After trying two ointments and a few over the counter / home ideas I was ready for surgery. I had my surgery today and so far so good.

It does get better although you won’t think that right now

You need to keep stools soft

    Gtn cream

    Sitz baths

    Water

    Veggies

    Movicol/laxido
