I Have the left side of my neck burning with reflux

Posted , 2 users are following.

It all started last month when I took tramdol 100mg for two weeks straight (just to get high),

I had no idea of what I was doing because I saw others doing it.

When I realised the effects and what the outcome is, I decided to stop , it went well the day I decided to, but the next day I came up with this weakness and feeling tired and all, I Googled it and read about the withdrawal symptoms(the body pains like that of the flu and dizziness), I went through all that for a week accompanied with a dilated pupil.

It was the week after I started to notice a kind of feeling of the food I ate burping out of my throat. I googled also and found out it was acid reflux, so I called my doctor and told him about it. Which he put me on omeprazole20g and antacid for a week and also told me about the self medications, I tried as much as I could to go with the self medications and took the drug well, but it became three weeks and still saw no changes (note: the cold and flu symtops were gone already. But the dilated pupil still remained)

I couldn't tell my doctor about it because I was scared if he would tell me about surgery which I didn't want to hear.

I went on with the reflux for a month, but didn't notice any heart burn, I chewed gums and these brought a little relief for about a week.

Now its two months now and I still have the reflux with no heart burn but this time, I have the left side of my neck burning, and a little blockage of the ear, I dont have a sore throat yet, (I forgot to write this, during the withdrawal stage I feel a kind of asthma like symptoms)

I called my doctor yesterday and he put me on Omerprazole 40g and Gestids antacid, I want to know if this isn't serving serious and if it would still stop,

And I want to know if its the side effect of the tramdol I took. And if the reflux with go with the dilated pupils?

Please I'm scared I need you answers

Hi, just looking at your symptoms it's clear you need to be referred to a gastroenterologist who will probably recommend an endoscopy to take a look at your oesaphagus

But hope these symptoms aren't what to be suspicious of

      Cause I'm scared

It sounds like a digestive problem with the oesaphagus probably the lining of your tummy could have an infection. It's a fairly common problem and treated with antibiotics. The endescopy is fairly routine have it done asap and you should get sorted. Best of luck.
